This Week’s Astrology: Who Are You Gonna Serve?
Mercury retrograde and the Sun are crossing the Scorpio point this week, and a Scorpio new moon arrives next Sunday. The sky is asking one clear question:
Who are you going to serve with your thoughts, feelings, and life force?
Positive Scorpio uses will, desire, and imagination to create the life it wants.
Negative Scorpio gets stuck in the past, brooding, and the revenge spiral.
Spinoza warned that sadness can be political—useful to those who want people powerless. Look at the media landscape and you’ll see algorithms and content deliberately engineered to generate fear, rage, shame, and lack. That harvest has a cost: it replaces your will with addiction, crowds out your real desires, and starves your imagination.
This new moon wants you to release what you’ve outgrown. Mercury retrograde wants you to slow down and update the thought loops that no longer serve you.
The choice is still yours. Serve the systems that feed on your attention and suffering… or serve the God within that wants life more abundantly.
